Pumpkin is the symbol and orange is the color of the fall season. WHY?

There are others and you can choose colorful leaves or gourds to represent the fall season.

I live in the north, so these are common every fall.  But for those in other areas the trees, pumpkins, leaves, and gourds are different, uncommon, and noteworthy.

By using pumpkins or styling your post to the season you have restrained the post.

Sometimes styling is a good thing, but consider the ramifications. This post on Pinterest will probably get many re-pins in the fall but none in the summer.

I’m okay with that. I put one out every week.
