Monday Blog Tips:  Project Management

As bloggers, there are many different projects.  This biggest is the website and start out it’s also about learning technology.  Moving along with the process there are pages and posts.

Pages are static and have longevity within your site.

Post are fluent and have usually immediate impact. Some posts are even updated to keep it post current.  Post are uploaded monthly, weekly, or even daily – so there can be many posts to keep track of.

There are different ways to manage your posts and one way I like to do this is by using OneNote.

I keep a page of this year’s posts basically on a spread sheet.  I keep the list of titles and some description.

I also write all my posts using Word.  I files these posts and keep them in a folder I titled the websites name.

In this Folder, there is a subfolder for Images, Heading, Pages, Notes, and Backgrounds.  Using this style, I can manage my site efficiently.

Another great tip is to be like Santa: Make a list and remember to check it twice!
