Monday Blog Tips: Make it Cite-able

mbt-cite-able

What are you talking about?  Where did you get that information?  That statistic is just plain made-up!  Have you heard these before?  So, what’s up with your information?

Time to step up.  When you post, write your text that is correct and reputable. Original information is a great place to start. Please don’t make up statistics or you will be labeled the new Wikipedia.  Wikipedia has worked hard to come back from inaccurate or just wrong information.  IMHO, they have done well.   Most schools (colleges & high schools) still will not allow you to use a citation from Wikipedia. That is there problem, but for you don’t get blackballed by the schools.

Another way is to make the post actionable.  This will also get you cited but for a different reason.  This is good because there are more people wanting to put information to use, not just get a good grade.
