HTML: Hypertext Markup Language is the name.  Markup symbols and codes used to mark up text to be displayed on a browser page (web).

NOPE, you don’t need to know any.

Let’s keep this simple.  HTML is not needed for Blogging.

If you know some or work like to learn HTML.  Have a ball!  But, again this is not needed to blog.

If your using WordPress or most any other CMS and want to change something but cannot find a plugin, go to a forum and someone will probably give you HTML to stick into your site.  They will tell you where.

I know code very well and play with it daily.  What I do is make a screen shot of what I did before I execute (hit save or publish) the HTML.  Save this image to a word doc for future reference.

You will only have one (1) or five (5).  I have not every done more than five (5) custom HTML scrips in any Theme.

Just to know, you don’t need HTML.  If you know HTML, you might not use it ever on your blog.
