Email lists is a very important part of your blog.  How do you connect with your audience? Okay, you blog, but what about sales, specials, and just reminders? You don’t do that?  I’m sure you would like to email a list to say “Hey” and I posted a new article today, so go check it out!

Email list are also the life blood to any blogger who wants to make money.  Let’s say you are doing affiliate sales and your affiliate has a special for two days only. You don’t have an email list and your next post is due to published in three days on Friday.  Sure, post early; but your readers come to your site every Friday not Thursday.  You missed out on sales and your readers are not happy.

When should you start an email list?  Now!  One of the first things you should do is have a way to collect emails.  Other social media is good to get the word out, but email is a way to connect.
