My son has a YouTube channel.  He started it last year. He was posting now and then.  We talked about having a consistent post time schedule.

June was at 18 subscribers with an inconsistent post schedule.

The beginning of July, we made a deal to help each other.  My part was easy, I would give him the time and encourage him to post.

He started posting Tuesdays and Fridays.

One month later (30 days) he had 57 subscribers!

That’s awesome for a 12-year-old.

He has continued his growth. It has also taught him follow up and follow through.

How can you be more consistent with your schedule?

Blogging is a different genre than YouTube but consistency in your schedule pays off.

I have heard post to publish as much as fast as possible. Now some are saying don’t publish too much.  I still laugh at the “rules”.  Because what works for them doesn’t work for you.  There are no “rules”, they are more like guidelines.

One guideline I would say is have a publishing schedule, make it known, and stick to it.  I’m not everybody, I’m me. If I was following you and you were not consistent – Bye! Well, maybe not but I sure would not remember you as well.
