After last week’s post, Perez is definitely unique. He also has a niche.

It’s great to follow someone, like their work, and be in the niche.  Just be unique and find your voice.

Also understand being unique is about your spin on the niche and the niche itself.  Can you imagine blogging on Kitting?  I know diehard fans that will follow.  Now imagine a podcast on Kitting.  Think about just audio program on kitting.  Do you think it would work?

Uniqueness can be also about your color, both physical blog layout and words. I have read some very graphic blog posts.  Some people are so venomous about their employers.  This is where I laugh, because pointing a finger has three pointing back at you.

How else can you be unique?  I have another son who wears hats.  Sometimes in the summer he will wear a Santa or Elf hat.  This is him.  I picked him up the other day and saw many kids pointing and laughing.  It hurt me to see this, but he didn’t care or maybe he didn’t notice.  He has his group that loves him the way he is. 

To sum it up: Be YOU-Nique.
